I have a greenfield IVC filter inserted to prevent blood clots going to my lungs. I have had it for over ten years. It is safe to take the serrapeptase with it. I worry about it dissolving it if it dissolves inflammation.

I have taken Serrapeptase and Nattokinase for 15 months and have not experienced the slightest relief from my ailments. The disease I have is ncalled Graves and I also have the eye disease which progressed to the point where I have constant double vision and am obliged to wear a patch. I did expect that the enzymes would dissolve the scar tissue in my eyes and drain some fluid, allowing my eye muscles to move more normally. As well, I have COPD which is not too bad but does cause me to cough when I laugh, get excited and lay down to sleep. On top of that, I have some small varicose veins and there has been no improvement in these whatsoever. My diet during this period has been excellent. No sugar, dairy or grains, plenty of green drinks and supplements little meat and for five of these months I was completely vegan. I wish I was one of the success stories but sadly this is not so.

Excellent information…here’s hoping the word will spread – fast! I’m currently taking serrapeptase (8 capsules daily) to try and clear blockages from my carotid zrteries; I realise that it is a long term remedy and have been on the course for about 5 months now… I guess about another 12 to go for the desired result!
How does Serrapeptase know what scar tissue, to dissolve or not? In the case of someone who has had major surgery what if the scar/ wound opens up again? How does it (Serrapeptase) know wether it is good or bad?
Hi BP, one of the amazing properties of Serrapeptase is that the enzyme only goes after EXCESS scar tissue. It doesn’t keep eating away at fibrous tissue that is NEEDED by the body to cover up a wound because that would actually reopen the wound. Endogenous means that it is NEEDED fibrous tissue. Exogenous means that the fibrous tissue is NOT needed and doesn’t belong in your body. The enzyme can tell the difference and they only go after the exogenous (not needed) fibrous tissue.

I used to have a lot of “floaters” in my vision but last time I went for an eye check (I have type 2 diabetes) I suddenly realised the floaters had gone. I wondered if this could be because of Serrapeptase? I take 2 Serranol (if I can’t get out to sunbath) and 2 x 250,000 serra enzyme a day. Unfortunately I cannot say when the floaters disappeared, I only realised they had when I specifically looked for them.
