Health News (Week 37 – 2015)
By Robert Redfern

Pain is the most common ailment. Over the last week I have read many articles on pain but of course this is Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere and the change in the weather heralds the return of pain for those with problems (if it ever went away).

I try to make each newsletter varied but informative and I was thinking, what can I say about pain that I have not said before? So I searched my website and came up with the pain articles below. I selected these because they cover a varied and interesting range of solutions but more to the point my HealthPoint is covered more than anything because it is the fastest way to pain relief.

At the end of each article you will see a comments section where you can ask questions about that particular article. Please use this to make it easier to give relevant answers.

Life’s A Pain?
27/11/2014Life’s a pain? Not for me. It used to be almost thirty years ago when it was so bad that after a day’s driving, I had to beep the car horn for my wife Anne to come out to help me from the car and into the house. The pain in my back was so severe my legs would fold if I tried to walk unaided.

I was full of pain from top to bottom in my back and other parts of my body and I presumed even at aged forty that it was part of ‘getting older’.

Find Relief For Your Pain with the HealthPoint™!

Acupressure, a bit like acupuncture, is an ancient Chinese form of medicine involving the insertion of needles into certain points along the body’s “meridians” or purported energy pathways. Except with acupressure there is no need for needles – certain acupuncture points simply need to receive effective pressure and counteract any symptoms of common maladies related to headaches or back pain.

STATINS, More Than A Pain
16/07/2015
For almost fifteen years I have been writing about statins and warning they do not work for lifestyle, high cholesterol or to protect your life. Your doctor may tell you they will protect your life but if your doctor had the time to read all of the studies and fraud reports on statin use they would see that the side effects of statins outweigh any benefit that may be gained by taking them. The latest studies are showing memory loss which some fear more than death.

Relieve The Pain of Frozen Shoulder
18/01/2015
Calm inflammation before surgical intervention is needed. Frozen shoulder, also known as adhesive capsulitis, is a condition characterized by a painful, stiff shoulder. As the condition progresses, the shoulder becomes almost impossible to move without intense pain. Frozen shoulder currently affects two per cent of the population. The condition is more likely to occur in women than in men, normally between the ages of 40 and 60.

Acupuncture Really Does Relieve Pain, An Effective Alternative to Codeine
31/12/2014
Could acupuncture be routinely prescribed by US doctors for pain relief? It could happen, according to a new study that found it works in children who have had their tonsils taken out. Doctors’ choices were narrowed earlier this year when America’s drug regulator, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), banned the use of codeine in children who had had a tonsillectomy after the drug was found to cause complications.

Acupuncture Reduces Pain (And Its Not a Placebo)
13/12/2014Acupuncture does work. A major study has confirmed that it eases chronic pain – and it’s got nothing to do with the ‘placebo effect’, where the benefits are all in the patient’s mind.

Soluble Painkillers Increase High Blood Pressure Risk Seven-fold
26/11/2014
Soluble painkillers – many of which you can buy over- the-counter without a prescription – contain so much salt that they can increase the chances of developing high blood pressure (hypertension) more than seven times. They also raise the risk of a heart attack, stroke or fatal heart failure by 20 per cent.

Chronic Inflammation and Joint Pain
24/07/2014
Chronic Inflammation and Joint Pain The most frequently ‘asked’ questions that I have received over the last 25 years or so have been from readers of my newsletter, especially those suffering from chronic inflammation and joint pain. Twenty-five years ago it was only HealthPoint I offered and although the results were awesome, in the toughest cases, I realized that certain critical nutrients and a healthy lifestyle were essential for improving health and relieving many problems.

As ever:

Food and Simple Lifestyle Changes Will Help Prevent This Pain:

The studies are absolutely clear on this. I offer them because I am 100% sure your life will be better with these changes:

Stop all bread, pasties, cookies, breakfast cereals and grains, rice, potatoes, parsnips and wheat pasta.

Why? They contain things that are dangerously detrimental to your health. Yes, even organic grains and cereals!

Stop all processed beverages such as cola, fruit juices and excess alcoholic drinks.

Why? They are high in sugars and chemical alternatives to sugars.

Add lots of green vegetables in smoothies, soups, and salads.

Why? Because they stimulate growth factors that reverse ageing and keep you looking and feeling younger. Try a 60 day Green Smoothie Diet and look in the mirror if you want to prove it to yourself…

Add lots of dark skinned fruits such as avocados, blueberries, raspberries and other berries, etc.

Why? These are naturally full of antioxidants to protect your arteries and brain from damage.

Add lots of exercise and movement and stop sitting down for more than 3 hours per day.

Why? Studies are absolutely clear that sitting down for more than 3 hours per day is devastating for your future health. Walking for a couple of hours per day, rebounding on a mini trampoline and simple stretching and muscle exercises will prevent disease and keep you strong.

Add Water.

Why? Drinking 6-8 glasses of water over the day before 6pm will help keep you healthy and lower your blood pressure when combined with the above.

Add Salt: Take unprocessed rock salt or sea salt daily.

Why? To maintain some of the missing minerals from the diet.

Add To Your Life Purpose:

Keep working or do voluntary work but make sure you do something of value both to yourself and society. This will keep you younger. I feel like a 40 year old!

Other than HealthPoint, take The Critical Minerals Missing From The Dietary Supplements.

Whatever your budget you can’t risk not taking something and ending up with a disease that will devastate your life. Whether it is one or two things: such as Serranol, SerraEnzyme 250,000iu, Active Life, or the 15 things my wife and I take daily, they are infinitely better than the diseases stealing the future of the majority.
